This is the chicks' new feeder. It is much bigger and they have gotten to the point where they all want to eat at once and they are too big to do that.

Two Weeks
The chicks are now two weeks old, and they have been growing unbelievably fast! They are so much bigger than they were a week and a half ago, and they all have tail feathers now. Their wing feathers are growing, too (you can feel when you pick them up), and you can just see a little tinge of red on the combs of a couple of them.

Our Breed of Chicken
We will hopefully be getting cuckoo maran chicks in about nine days. The power was out in the incubator for about thirty six hours, but one of the eggs was cracked open and there was a living chick inside.

The Chicken Project is underway!
Hooray! Today we went to visit the people we will be getting chicks from, the Linkers. They have many eggs in their incubator. We will get half a dozen chicks in about ten days! I can't wait!
